Our  classmate Jim Kosmo has written a new book. Here is more information:

"Class of '59 alum Jim Kosmo is launching his new book, Monsters In The Hallway, at Volume One in Eau Claire 7-9 pm Friday, Oct. 27. The story is set in Eau Claire and the protagonist is a member of the Memorial High Class of 1959. What started as a memoir was converted into a murder mystery. Much of the story is true, except for the murders. It all starts one night in 1959 when a Boy Scout is brutally murdered near Dells Pond , a choir girl vanishes from the same church, and a mental patient escapes from the Eau Claire County Hospital. Life gets complicated for our young hero when he learns that the dead Boy Scout is his good friend and the prime suspect, the escaped mental patient, is his father. Kosmo's father spent 27 years in mental hospitals in Madison, Whitehall and Eau Claire providing great insight into the world of the mentally ill. The award winning author interviewed a dozen former employees from the local asylum and coordinated with Eau Claire police in crafting his story."
