Barbara Ann (Jarvar) Hoepner died suddenly on August 1, 2022, at the age of 80. Born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to parents Harold and Hazel (Coddington) Jarvar. Graduate of Eau Claire Memorial High School and the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. Barb married her high school sweetheart Kenneth Hoepner, and the two of them delighted in pointing out that they were the original Barbie and Ken. She was intelligent and creative, pouring herself into her hobbies throughout her life: horseback riding, sewing and quilting, and researching her family's roots. The piles of books that always surrounded her were testament to her love of reading.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 59 years Kenneth Hoepner, son Paul Hoepner, and brother Douglas Jarvar. She is survived by her daughter Ann Hoepner Norris, son in law Scott Norris, and granddaughter Wynn Norris, along with many family members and friends in Eau Claire and the Twin Cities.

No service is planned at this time. Any memorials may be directed to organizations that provide food for those in need.
