Carol S. Hamler, 53, 803 Leonard Dr., Eau Claire, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 18, 1994, at home after a long battle with cancer.

Carol was born June 19, 1941, in Eau Claire to George and Jeanette (Bietsterveld) Jump. She grew up in Eau Claire and graduated from Memorial High School in 1959.

Carol was married to Willian L. Hamler Aug. 27, 1960. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

Carol is survived by her husband, William; two sons, Michael (Bobbie) Hamler of Savage, Minn., Patrick (Donna) Hamler of Eau Claire; a daughter, Shelly (James) Buell of Zimmerman, Minn.; five grandchildren, Benjamin, Daniel and Samantha, Megan and Nicholas; two sisters, Beverly (James) Wahl of Eau Claire and Nancy (Sam) Kuhnert of Elk River, Minn.; a brother, Dennis Jump of San Francisco; nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Barbara Koch officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Fuller Funeral Home and an hour before services Friday at the church.
