Clayton Bellows

Clayton "Ding" Bellows, age 70, of Eau Claire, WI, died suddenly at home on Monday, June 27, 2011.

He was born August 9, 1940, in Eau Claire to Clayton and Bernadette (Johnson) Bellows.

He loved mowing lawn, blowing snow, and tinkering in his garage. He could "fix" anything. Ding enjoyed going to his hobby farm. He liked to ride his Harley and absolutely loved to dance. He also played guitar and enjoyed singing with the Norma Jean Trio Band in the sixties. He continued to occasionally play guitar with his son in the garage. Ding could B.S. with the best of them.

Ding is survived by his mother, Bernadette Bellows, Eau Claire, WI; son, Michael (Renae) Bellows, Eau Claire; daughter, Robin (Ken Proulx) Andre, Eau Claire; sister, Deanna (George Patterson) Bass, Logans Port, LA; grandchildren, Ryan, Nicole, and Zachary; great-grandchild, Gavin; his special friend, Cheryl Cigan; his dog, Buddy; and his cat, Tracy. He is further survived by several nieces; nephews; aunts; and uncles. He will be sadly missed by friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clayton; wife, Sharon; and sister, Sonya.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 1, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Pkwy., Altoona, WI.

Friends may call two hours prior to service at the funeral chapel.
