Donald “Donnie” R.
Felton, 77 of New Auburn passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at his
home.
Donald was born on October 22, 1940 to Edward and Norma (Gunderson) Felton
in Wisconsin.
He was Born and raised in Cleghorn. Donald graduated from Memorial High
School. Joined and proudly served in the U.S. Army. While married,
starting a family and raising three boys Don owned and operated a farm and
was employed by Gould-Imperial Clevite then built a home and moved his
family to the town of Seymour where he enjoyed watching and coaching his
sons baseball teams and spending time fishing at the cabin on Potato Lake
which eventually became his permanent residents for many years until
moving to a home in the country outside of New Auburn.
Don loved to spoil his grand kids, spending time with friends and family.
He was also an avid Packer fan. He would spend time scouting out future
draft picks for the next season.
Don will be truly missed and we are all blessed to have had him in our
lives.
Donald is survived by his sons, Brad (Ann) Felton of Rock Falls, Kevin
Felton of New Auburn, and Robert Felton of Eau Claire; grandchildren,
Brenden and Courtney Felton; and siblings, Roger (Marion) Felton, Gail
(Hazel Berger) Felton, Marlys Berg, Edward Felton Jr., and Hazel (Gary)
Rud.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents; son, Travis Felton;
granddaughter, Shania Felton; great-granddaughter, Taylor Thompson; and
brother, Lauren Felton.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 12:00 pm at Smith
Funeral Chapel with Rev. Robert Hoekstra officiating. Visitation will
begin at 10:00 am up to the time of service at the funeral home on
Tuesday. Burial will follow the service at Rest Haven Cemetery. Friends
