Donald Glenna
Donald E. Glenna, 60, of 1412
Whipple Street died Thursday, March 21, 2002, at his home.
He was born April 5, 1941, in Eau Claire, the son of Thinious and Myrtle
(Mattson) Glenna. He graduated from Memorial High School in 1959. He then
served in the United States Army for three years. He worked for Charlson
Manufacturing, the Eau Claire YMCA and later as a self-employed carpenter.
Don liked working with wood, fishing with his brother and nephews, country
music, and dancing to the music of "The Rhythm Playboys." He will be
greatly missed.
He is survived by his son, Scott; granddaughter, Alexis, stepchildren;
step grandchildren; three brothers, Raymond (Eunice) Glenna of Eau Claire,
Jim (Janet) Glenna of West Lafayette, Indiana, and Maynard (Sherri) Glenna
of Seale, Alabama; two sisters, Carol (Al) Hendricks of Eau Claire and
Joan (Keith) Gunn of Chippewa Falls; and special friends, Lois Lawrence
and family.
His parents, two brothers, Merlin and Mike, and his stepson, David Klick,
preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at
Fuller-Speckien Funeral Home, with Pastor Keith Gunn officiating. Burial
will be in Rest Haven Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday one hour before the services at the funeral
home.
Fuller-Speckien Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
