Jerilynn Ruth Hanson

 

Jerilynn Ruth Hanson (Tanta) age 74, of Minneapolis, passed away on October 24th, 2016. Preceded in death by parents, Carl and Ann Hanson and her sister, Carole Ann Lindstrom. Survived by her brother-in-law, Jim A. Lindstrom, niece Nancy Kullas (Larry), nephew Jim C. Lindstrom, great nephew, Mack Kullas and great niece, Ann Kullas. Jerilynn is also survived by her dear caregiver, Angela Reyes, and an amazing circle of close friends whom she considered her family. Jerilynn, a graduate from the University of Minnesota, lived in Washington D.C., San Francisco and Minneapolis, filling her life with friends and travel. She was a talented photographer and participated in several shows in recent years. Jerilynn was the Executive Vice President of Marketing for Thymes for 18 years. Her career began in advertising at the Star Tribune and included work as a buyer for the prestigious I. Magnin department store in San Francisco as well as importing French artisan bath & body products. Diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease in 2009, Jerilynn continued to live a life filled with courage, grace, visual beauty and love. We will miss her deeply. A private memorial service and burial were held on November 2, 2016 at Hillside Cemetery and Chapel in Minneapolis.
