Judy Rae Butler
Memorial service
for Judy Butler, age 73, of Ogilvie, will be held on Saturday, April 18th
at 3 PM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ogilvie with Rev. Marc Freiberg
officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the
church on Saturday.
Judy Rae Butler went to be with God early Wednesday morning with her
family by her side. Judy was born on May 16, 1941; the eldest of 2
children to the late Raymon and Vera (Ponto) Chaffee in Menomonie,
Wisconsin. She grew up in Eau Claire and graduated from Eau Claire High
School. She was united in marriage to Frank Butler on September 16, 1960
at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Eau Claire. Judy was a life long caregiver,
working as a nurses aide and helping children as a paraprofessional. She
enjoyed cooking, baking, needle point and crocheting, gardening and
canning. She will be remembered for making the best fried chicken. Judy
also enjoyed going to family functions, politics, music and nature. Judy
will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, but most
importantly as a faithful child of God.
Judy is survived by beloved husband, Frank of Ogilvie; sons, Jody (Darla)
of Minneapolis, Jefferie (Karen) of Bowlus, Jerome (Judi) of Andover,
Joshua (Jessica) of Otsego and Dewayne (Renee) Combs of Stillwater; her 11
grandchildren, Ashley Butler, Bradley (Amie) Butler, Kelsey Butler, Jacob
Butler, Samuel Butler, Jeremy Butler, Anna Butler, Justin Butler, Jenna
Butler, Jessica Butler, Jordan Butler, and her sister, Linda (Jerry) Salow
of Jim Falls, Wisconsin. Judy was preceded in death by parents, Raymon and
Vera.
