Katharine Paulson
Katharine
"Katy" Louise Paulson, 63, died at her home in Englewood, Colo., on
February 26, 2004. She was the daughter of the late Dr. W.O. and Dagny
Paulson of Eau Claire. Katy graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School
in 1959, and from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1964, with a
degree in nutrition.
For eight years, she was a dietician at Rose Memorial Medical Center, and
for 28 years, she worked as a renal and transplant dietician at the
University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colo.
She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Cherry Hills Village,
Colo., a member of Chapter HN, Englewood, of PEO Sisterhood and numerous
profession and work-related organizations.
Katy enjoyed sports, the outdoors, all thing Norwegian, crafts, skiing and
her family and friends.
Surviving are her sister, Sonja Turner of Bloomsburg, Penn.; three nieces,
Kristen Turner of Easton, Penn., Andrea Turner of San Francisco, Calif.,
and Tanya Cain of Atlanta, Ga.; two aunts, Leona Pederson and Dorthy
Anderson, both of Eau Claire; and several cousins.
A memorial service was held at Bethany Lutheran Church in Cherry Hills
Village, Colo., on Tuesday, March 9. A family graveside service of
committal will be held on Saturday, March 20, at Lakeview Cemetery in Eau
Claire.

Katy will be greatly missed by her family and friends. God bless her
