Nyles Kolhepp
Nyles 'Nub" Kohlhepp, age 72, of Eau
Claire passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at home surrounded by his
family.
Nub was born on April 8, 1941 to Robert and F. Niola (Bollinger) Kohlhepp
in Eau Claire. In 1959, he graduated from Memorial High School. He married
Karen Tweet in 1960 and later divorced. In his early years he worked the
assembly line for American Motors in Kenosha, WI for six years. After
returning to Eau Claire, he worked as a route driver for several
companies. In December of 2003, he married Kim Moss.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved farming, fishing, hunting, boating,
golfing, playing softball, and snowmobiling. Nub also loved playing the
slots, cribbage and family poker games. He was a member of the Eau Claire
Evening Lions Club and 4-H. He was an avid sports fan cheering his beloved
Packers, Badgers and local high school teams.
Nub is survived by his mother, F. Niola Kohlhepp; wife, Kim; sister, Ann
(Bud) Asselin; brothers, John (Jann) Kohlhepp, Chuck (Sue) Kohlhepp;
children, Bret (Denise) Kohlhepp, Kent Kohlhepp, Mark (Kerry) Kohlhepp,
Kelli (Rick) Mickelson, Kristi (Bob) Southern, and Travis (Jodee) Moss;
grandchildren, Andrea (Cory) Tomac, Joshua (Kyle) Kohlhepp, Jessica
Kohlhepp, Hailey Jenkins, Mason Mickelson, Brynne Mickelson, Caleb Moss,
and Nylee Moss; great grandchildren, Alec Tomac, Payton Tomac, and Cooper
Winger; many nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert "Bob"; infant son, Jeffrey.
Family will receive friends on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 4:00 - 8:00
p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home (Golf Road one block East of Hwy 93).
Interment will be at a later date. Evergreen Funeral Home and Crematory is
serving the family.
