Roger Freeman

Freeman, age 73, died on Monday, November 4, 2013.
Roger was born on November 15, 1939 in Eau Claire to the late Herbert and
Margaret (Hazelton) Freeman. In the late 60s and early 70s Roger was a
race car driver in the Midwest Wisconsin Circuit. He enjoyed deer hunting
and fishing. He owned two gas stations, Conoco on Eddy Lane and Western
Ave and the Sinclair on Eddy Lane and Starr Ave. He worked for Gold Cross
Courier and the Prock Funeral Home.
Survivors are his sisters, Lois Freeman and Janice Gouge both of Eau
Claire, WI and Sandy (Jim) Swartz of Wilmington, NC; and further survived
by other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2013, at
Stokes, Prock & Mundt Funeral Home at 535 S Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona, WI
with Pastor Rolf Nestingen officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m.
until time of services.
