Romane D. Woodford, 79, passed away on July 10, 2021 at Mayo Hospital. Romane was born to Ted and Inez Woodford in Eau Claire on July 19, 1941.

He graduated from Memorial High School in Eau Claire and attended college.
Romane meet the love of his life, Adeline Bosher and they were married in August 12, 1961. He is survived by his 3 daughters: Kim, Kathy, and Karla; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Romaine spent his life working Uniroyal, the Edwards Bar and after moving to Augusta, WI in 1978 continued as an owner of The Du Duck Inn and The Augusta Inn. He also worked as a farmer, a fire fighter, EMT, and Mayor of Augusta (1986 - 1994).

He has had a full and blessed life.

Romane was always fond of saying "Family First" or "Family helps Family". I know he is watching over his family now while resting high on that mountain.

A celebration of life will be held at the Augusta Fire Department on August 7th from 2-5. "Come have one last drink on Woody.”
