The News
| The News, with about 14 issues printed
each school year, was a popular publication of students from our high school days.
It was written by students and printed in the school print shop. Wayne Surguy
worked as a member of The News staff during his four-year high
school career, and was editor during our senior year. He has saved many of the
issues from those years, making them available now for others to read. There is only
one issue from our freshman year, but only a few are missing from the other three
years. Most of the issues are four pages, but some are six pages or two pages. The
files are in PDF format and are viewable with Adobe Reader, which you likely already
have on your computer. Set your magnification to 200% for favorable viewing. The
files are large, with a four-page issue about 3.5 megabytes. If you have a dial-up
internet connection, you will have to be patient while a file is downloading to your
computer, which could take 15 to 30 minutes for each issue, depending on your
connection speed. People using a high-speed connection will not need nearly as much
